Proud’s First Month Summary

Dear Proud community!

We wanted to share with you a few insights about what we have achieved during the first month, and what you can expect from the future versions.

Today we released the first major update to Proud. Thanks to tons of people who were brave enough to submit their opinions and suggestions, we were able to create the most personal experience about completing a task in the whole AppStore universe. The next time you use it, you will hear one of a hundred congratulations our users submitted for you. If you haven’t heard it yet, be sure to go to the AppStore and download the most recent update. You will have complete freedom of choice for how your app looks, behaves and from now on — sounds!

The first month exceeded every expectation we initially made. We got tons of positive reviews in the press: Lifehacker, The Next Web, MacFormat and many, many more! A few days ago we were featured by Apple in many countries. Thousands of users purchased Proud and are using it every day to make their lives more productive. We must say it’s one of the most awesome things we achieved that we are proud of!

Here are just a few of the feedback messages our users send to us every day:
– “I’ve just started using Proud, and I already know it’s the best task managing app I’ve ever come across.” ~Hirayama
– “Absolutely love Proud.” ~Ruben
– “Loving this app!” ~Eden
– “Your app is great!” ~Phillip

We never wanted to build random app for productive people. Our mission was to build a tool that would make the experience of becoming productive much more satisfying than any other app in the market.

As many of you know, we are working hard to ship the first pre-alpha version of Proud for Mac. It is already working for our internal team of me and Andżelika. Thousands of tasks are seamlessly synchronized between our Macs, iPhones and iPads, and I can’t wait until you will be able to do that, too. If you want to join the waitlist, go to http://useproud.com/#mac-betatesting. We don’t want to announce any firm dates yet because we want to calmly produce something great that you can put your hands on.

If you want to stay on top of the latest news about the app, be sure to follow us on @UseProud. We try to answer every question you send to us. Also feel free to send us emails with questions or feedback to contact@useproud.com. You can also follow us on Twitter: @PiotrSzwach and @AngeliqueToque, or you can write to us directly, too.
